COUNTY OF COCHISE, STATE OF ARIZONA, OF THE BISBEE COMMITTEE ON
DISABILITY ISSUES MEETINGS FOR CALENDAR YEAR, 2009
UNLESS OTHERWISE POSTED, MEETINGS ARE HELD ON THE SECOND
WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 2:00 PM IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE
BISBEE MUNICIPAL CITY HALL BUILDING AT 118 ARIZONA STREET, BISBEE,

     – Discussion and Motion to propose to Mayor and City Council that requires the City of Bisbee
to have an plan for accessibility to all non-ADA compliant City buildings in writing, and
available for public examination.

     – Discussion and Motion to propose to Mayor and City Council an ordinance that requires any
organization that receives funding from the City of Bisbee to have a plan for accessibility in
writing, and filed with the City of Bisbee to buildings and events that are not disability
accessible.

     – San Jose accessibility presentation

3) Accommodation

     – Discussion and Motion to propose to Mayor and City Council an ordinance that provides to
persons with disabilities a reduced fee accommodation equivalent the senior citizens discount—
if a senior discount exists–to any city funded or sponsored public event, facility, or service.

4) Transportation

     – Review and Discussion of existing public transportation

5) Education

      – Discussion of possible public education program

6) Correspondence and communications for the good of the order
